Dissemination of the Municipal Investment profile

Kira Municipal Investment Profile has been in the move to actively work and promote local economic growth in a manner that is inclusive, commercially feasible and environmentally and socially sustainable by involving local actors such as cooperatives, farmer groups, and other solidarity groups disseminated to the Municipal stakeholders by the Media Float International Limited – a consultant who was contracted to offer Consultancy Services in undertaking/Developing Baseline Studies on Local Economic Investments and Business Enterprises for Kira Municipal Council to Develop a Consolidated Strategic Municipal Investment Plan.

The plan is to give prospective investor a direction of where exactly to invest. The Municipality with rapid urbanization rate is having much unexplored investment opportunities that have not been tapped in due to lack of a comprehensive paper giving guidance on investment

Stakeholders engaged include Members of the Municipal Metropolitan Development Forum, Municipal Political and Technical members and Members and representatives from the Ministry of Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs
